Luke 12:32

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

The words “little flock”, as a little flock of sheep, refer to the fact that those that enter the kingdom and truly come to know Christ are in the minority in this world; not understood, and barely tolerated. Sometimes we may become fearful and doubt our salvation, or whether God is concerned with our lives. How comforting to be reassured by Jesus that God sees us, God loves us, and with the greatest good will takes extreme pleasure in giving us the kingdom; that is, eternal life and all the blessings that flow to us through His beloved Son Jesus, who loved us and gave Himself for us, to whom be honor, glory and praise, now and forever. Amen.
