Luke 1:33
October 21
Luke 1:33
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Of His Kingdom it is said that nothing vile, unclean, impure, or that makes a lie or false matter will enter in to it, but only those that have washed themselves in the blood of the lamb; and they shall walk with Him in robes of white. For the person who is bent on seeking the vanities of this present fleeting world this may not seem very appealing. The allure is diminished, obscured and drowned in the mad absorption of pleasure seeking, self-promotion, and the pursuits of this life. Only ponder this: the present world indeed does have many pleasant and delightful things; but these are not even a shadow of the glories to come. Since God has furnished this world with many pleasant things, what can his omnipotence and creativity furnish in the world to come that He is using His unlimited ability to create? And ponder this. "Of His Kingdom there shall be no end." It goes on and on and on and on forever and ever and ever. Where will you be?
