Luke 2:14

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Well might the angels sing “Glory to God in the highest”! They sing in amazement and admiration of the heavenly Father who robbed heaven of its’ brightest jewel to send His son to this sinful earth to suffer and die in our place. Let us add our voice to theirs and say “Thank you Father for the best, most marvelous gift you could give us; the gift of your precious Son to take our sins upon Himself and make possible the gift of eternal life. Glory to God in the highest; Glory honor and praise be to His name forever and ever. Praise the LORD with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Amen.
