Luke 1:32

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Jesus is the Son of the Highest and the son, or descendant of King David, who was prophesied to have a descendant who would occupy the throne and rule in Jerusalem. When the governors of this world have made a complete mess of things and chaos reigns even more than now, Jesus will return and set up His throne in Jerusalem in fulfillment of this and many other prophecies, to reign as King for a thousand years on this earth during which time peace will cover the world as waters cover the earth. This thousand year reign is called the millennium. You may not know all the details of God’s prophetic program, but the important thing is to have Jesus as your Savior and enthroned in your heart; to be yielded to God and led of the Spirit and PREPARED FOR HIS RETURN, which seems more and more imminent as things continue to spin out of control.
