Hebrews 13:14

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

You may have a good job TODAY, and be out of work TOMORROW; be healthy TODAY, and sick TOMORROW; be wealthy today, and catastrophe strikes and it’s all gone. The ONLY thing constant in this life is CHANGE; THAT, you can count on. As Omar Khayyam said, “our worldly hope like snow upon the desert’s dusty face, lighting a little hour or two, is gone”. But praise God, the mansions that Jesus is preparing for us will NEVER rust, tarnish, or decay, but will abide THROUGHOUT ETERNITY. And JESUS, the one who is “Altogether lovely”, WILL NEVER CHANGE. Heb.13:8 “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Are you looking for that city whose builder and maker is God? ETERNITY IS A LONG TIME.
