Psalms 34:4

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

It is so simple: I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Yet someone says, I called upon Him, and I’m still living the same, defeated, sinful life. What then? The Bible says in Psalms 145:18 that “the LORD is nigh unto ALL them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in TRUTH”. Either this verse is not true, or you did not call upon Him in truth. If you truly call upon Him, He will open the windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not even be able to contain. The reason that we stumble, and live defeated, stressful lives, is that we fail to go into God’s presence, and sincerely call upon Him. Spend time in His presence. Truly call upon Him and He will hear you and deliver you from your fears and give you the “peace that passes all understanding”.
