1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1:5 "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.” To walk in the light simply means to obey God and do all things that are good, true, and beautiful, and avoid all things that are low, mean, vulgar, ugly and sinful. Since Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us, let us follow Him, obey His Word, and walk in the light as He is in the light. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12
