2 Thessalonians 3:13
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
There have ALWAYS been discouragements and opposition to Christians that are trying to please the Lord. There is resistance, persecution, and mocking. This is THE REAL WORLD. Jesus warns us beforehand of this, for He tells us in John 16:33, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Paul says that ALL who will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer some form of persecution. Forewarned is forearmed. Our reaction should be to grow in Grace, walk in the Spirit and live in close fellowship with the Lord, allowing His peace and joy to rule in our hearts. But even if there is no direct opposition sometimes we just get tired. The solution is the same. RENEW YOUR COMMITMENT to Christ, walk in the Spirit, let the Word dwell richly in you; catch a renewed vision of Calvary and the love of our Lord that led Him to sacrifice Himself for us there.
