Romans 8:18

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Problems, suffering, pain and horror are real in this present world, and their root cause is sin and rebellion against the will of God. But although these things are awful, their duration is but a fleeting moment compared to eternity. The Bible says that all present things will be forgotten and never come to mind as the saints enjoy the long eternity in heaven which Jesus is preparing for those that love Him. Notice that Paul says that our sufferings are not even worthy to be compared to our future glory. In another place, Paul says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:17
