John 14:19

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Referring to his crucifixion, Jesus said that the world would see him no more. “But ye see me.” And many disciples did see Jesus after the resurrection. But we now see Him with the eyes of faith. It is like the old hymn by Alfred H. Ackley, He Lives. He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me, and talks with me, along life’s narrow way, He lives, He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives: He lives within my heart. The world sees him no more. Do you?
