John 6:47

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Here is an invitation! It is open equally to all alike, without reference to social standing, intellect, political affiliation, etc. There is no mountain to climb, no creed to memorize, and no labors of Hercules to perform. All has been done that needed to be done when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. When does this everlasting life begin? It has begun already! The moment you truly believe on Jesus as your Savior and receive Him into your heart by faith, you pass from death to life. There may be no visible or audible signs on earth accompanying this new birth, but there is a commotion in heaven. The Bible tell us that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, and comes to Jesus. “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Luke 15:10. Simple as it is, I urge you not to stop short of actually closing with Christ, and accepting Him into your heart by faith. It is possible to hear the “good news” all your life, without ever having Jesus in your heart. God bless you. I’ll see you there! Amen
