Mark 9:23

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
The man that Jesus was speaking to, had a son who was tormented by an evil spirit that caused him to lash about, fall down and wallow around, gritting his teeth and foaming at the mouth. The father of the child said to Jesus, “If you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.” Jesus said, “if you can believe, all things are possible,” and then he healed the child. We are prone to limit God, and we have fixed ideas of what He can do and what He cannot do. God is God. He created us, and He can heal us. He created the laws by which the universe operates, and if need be, He can suspend these laws. Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “with God all things are possible.” Don’t try to limit God. According to our verse for today, the only limitation rests with us because of our unbelief.
