John 6:35

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Can you imagine any other man making this statement? It would be ludicrous. But Jesus made the statement and it is not humorous nor inappropriate, but a statement of the most wonderful truth for the Christian. He continued, in verse 51, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.” How do we do this? By kneeling at the foot of the cross, seeing the body that was tortured and the blood that was spilled for our sins, and asking Him to come into our heart and be our Savior. Have you eaten of this bread?
