1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

For the true Christian, there is no need for self-pity and the “poor me” rut. Our sins are washed away, heaven is our home, God cares for us, is concerned about us, and watches over us. It is true that we live in a troubled world and a troubled society. Each new newscast brings fresh concerns about the direction of our government, the competency of our leaders, and the deterioration of moral values in our society. But amidst the moral decay, the economic decline, and the bad news on every side, there is still some good news…THE Good News, which is the definition of the word, Gospel…Good News; which is that Jesus loves us and gave Himself for us, He is preparing a home for us in heaven, and the Father loves us and cares for us in our day to day problems and concerns. If you are truly His child, He sees your cares and problems and strongly desires for you to seek His help. He is delighted when you walk in the light of His Word and when you call on Him. Therefore…….. “Cast all your care upon him; for he cares for you.”
