Daniel 7:14

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

At Christmas time, we usually think of Jesus as a babe in a manger. At other times we may think of Him as being rejected by men, lowly and suffering persecution. But the time is shortly coming when He will be revealed as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Father will delight to honor Him and set Him on the throne at Jerusalem where He will reign, and all nations and peoples shall see His glory. Sadly, the evil-doers who continue to deny him will go into the dark night of shame and eternal punishment. Let us even now give Him the place of honor on the throne of our hearts, and serve our Lord with joy and gladness. The time is short. He says “Behold, I come quickly.” Amen.
