Romans 4:7
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Happy. Blessed. Thrice blessed. If a person in this life accomplishes nothing more than sincerely calling upon God and receiving Jesus into his heart, we may call him blessed indeed. To stand before God and hear ``Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of the Lord” will be true blessing. On the other hand, no matter what your accomplishments in this life, no matter how many friends, no matter your place in Face Book, no matter how many text message and E mail communicants we have, if, at the end of it all we must stand before God and give an account of every deed and action done in the flesh in this life and hear the Lord say ``Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and His angels” then we are miserable indeed. The question of a long eternity is settled in an instant when we ask Jesus to come into our hearts and this is the true blessing of eternity.
