1 Peter 3:13
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
We live in a world of confused moral values. That which is honest and decent is called boring and tedious; a life lived in obedience to Jesus is called dull and insipid. The things of the gospel that we as Christians call marvelous and excellent, the world calls hypocritical, dull, and wearisome. The bible says in Isaiah 5:20, “Woe be to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!’’ It is like Pilate puzzling with the meaning of the word “truth’’. He didn’t even have a clue. Shall I tell you the best course of study for “Values clarification”? The only way to clarify life’s values is to go to the Word of God, for therein is revealed the purpose of life and the pathway to heaven, and above all it tells us of Jesus who is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. Until you come to Him, your values are distorted and topsy-turvy.
