Psalms 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

We live in a fast paced world, and many times we may come to the end of the day as Paul says with distress within and fightings without. But how beautiful to quietly end the day calling upon the Lord, leaving all concerns in His hands, dismissing worries and cares, and quietly falling into a restful, restorative sleep: no scheming and planning for tomorrow, no anxieties and worries, just calmly and quietly leaving all in the hands of our heavenly Father. You can begin with the child’ s prayer; ``Now I lay me down to sleep’’.
