Acts 18:10

Acts 18:10
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
Sometimes we feel like Paul, “Fears within and fightings without. We look about us and there are crimes, distress, problems, suffering and anguish. Our little bark has navigated through much foul weather and many a stormy sea. We look ahead and see dark storm clouds looming. But God is still on the throne and Jesus is preparing for us an eternity of rest, love and blessings, and when our little boat finally reaches that safe haven, we shall dwell with Him and departed loved ones in love, joy, and peace forever in that bright eternal “city that hath foundations.” In the words of the Hymn, “I see the lights of that city so bright, my home sweet home.’’ It`s going to be beautiful. Don’t miss it for the illusions and vanities of this temporary battleground of fears, struggle, lies and delusions. If we have truly made Jesus our Lord Savior, we will see the King in His beauty and hear the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
Commentary by Francis L. Harris
