Psalms 1:2

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

The previous verse tells of the blessedness of the person who DOESN’T walk in companionship with sinners, or “hang” with them, as the vernacular now is. He walks not with them, but on the contrary, HIS DELIGHT is in the Lord’s word, which he reads daily, or “day and night”. Being “Fellow Travelers” on this little globe that is floating freely in space we sometimes have lucid moments in which we ask ourselves; WHY ARE WE HERE? What’s going on? What’s it all about? There is ONLY ONE BOOK that gives us the answers; THE BIBLE, referred to as ``The law of the LORD’’, or The Word of God. Today’s Versaday tells us the blessedness of the man who has found the wisdom, comfort and delight of reading, pondering , and meditating therein day and night. The Bible is A LIVING BOOK, that shows us God’s justice, our sin and failure, God’ s love and provision for our salvation through the sacrifice of His Son, and it also reveals our ETERNAL DESTINY. Truly, blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalms 1:2
