2 Timothy 3:17

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Whatever business or project you undertake, you need the right tools. The verse prior to our Versaday tells us that God has given us the inspired scriptures and that they contain EVERYTHING NECESSARY for us to know in order to gain forgiveness of sin, to have fellowship with God, to avoid eternal punishment, and to have eternal life through Jesus, His Son. During our BRIEF STAY on this planet, God wants us to walk in close fellowship with Him by prayer, reading His Word, and living a holy life, that is, separated from sin. The ONLY way to do these things is to feast richly on His Word. “His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”. 2 Peter 1:3
