Deuteronomy 28:3

Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

The passage continues: “Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground,” etc. and “Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.” See what a good God we serve. When we make Him Lord of our life, and turn from everything that is vile, base, dirty, and sinful, He delights to load us with benefits. These blessings apply only to those who honor the LORD with their lives, and who walk in obedience to His precepts; to those who surrender to Jesus, have their sins washed away by the blood of Calvary , and live daily striving to please Him.
