Colossians 3:2

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Set your heart, desire and hope like an automatic pilot toward the celestial city where Christ sits on the right hand of God; where our true and lasting possessions are, where Christ is preparing us a dwelling place such that the Bible says that it is inconceivable, neither has even entered into the head or heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love Him. Even now, many of our loved ones have passed on and are dwelling in that Beulah Land. Don’t exchange that blessed hope for the pain, struggle, lust, sin and shame of this present evil world of heartaches and disappointments. There is no night there; The LORD himself is the light of that city. It won’t be long; just a few more weary days, and then we’ll fly away. Don’t miss it for the world.
