Galatians 5:14

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

All the rules, restrictions and regulations can be done away with if we only obey this one command. Love is good-willing, or wishing good toward someone. It is ACTIVE, and if opportunity permits, will show itself in good works. Gushy feelings, and sweetness that do NOT result in action are just sentiment and feeling. True love manifests itself in deeds, and is possible only through yielding to Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us. Such love, or such attitude needs no laws, threats or rewards, but is itself the fulfilling of the Law.
