Romans 4:8
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
The person referred to in this passage to whom the Lord does not charge sin or reckon his sin against him, is a person who has accepted Jesus as his Savior. This man’s sins were placed on Jesus who paid the penalty and now God counts him (or reckons him) blameless and does not charge his sin against him as far as salvation is concerned. Of course as Christians, when we sin God chastises us in this life. A fish out of water is miserable, and a child of God who is living in sin is miserable, and if he continues to rebel against God, he is “delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved, 1 Corinthians 5:5, but as for eternity, we are blameless and secure in Jesus. Thank you blessed Jesus for bearing our sin. Amen.
