1 John 2:25

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

In “The Pilgrim’s Progress”, as pilgrim sets out for the Celestial City his neighbors tell him that he is taking Christianity to an extreme, that he is delusional or foolish and they call out to him to return to the City of Destruction. But he stops up his ears with his fingers and runs toward the Celestial City crying out, “Life, Life, Eternal Life.” That is the determination that we should have in our journey toward the Celestial City. Think of it. ETERNAL LIFE! Jesus said, “He that loves father or mother or sister or brother more than me, is not worthy of me.” Like the song says, “I can’t help what others do, I’m on my way.” Are you a pilgrim on the way to the Celestial City?
