Psalms 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

We do not have to guess at God’s will for our lives, or grope with our arms extended as a blind-folded man feeling his way. The whole Bible is our instruction book. “He hath shown thee O man what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Micah 6:8. Our steps are ordered by the LORD; directed and protected.

The marvel of it all is that God takes delight in the lives of His obedient children. The Apostle John’s words show us the heart of the Father: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” 3 John 4. Let us bring pleasure to our Heavenly Father by “doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God.” Micah 6:8. Amen.
