Proverbs 2:6

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

When Solomon received the throne in Jerusalem He prayed, “Give thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad”. 1 Kings 3:9. Wisdom comes from God; whether wisdom to govern a nation, to discipline children, to run a household, etc. Our constitution is one of the most prodigious and wise documents ever fashioned, and I am convinced that God guided our founding fathers, but in these critical times we need to pray that God will give our present leaders wisdom to govern and to abide by the principles that made this country great. Our wellbeing is not in think tanks, surveys, opinion polls, or more government, but in returning to God and His Son Jesus Christ, and in a return to the principles that made this country great in the first place.
