Psalms 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

In whatever circumstance, whether we are going through hard times or suffering various hardships, trials or discouragement, we are to look to God and wait upon Him. We do this through His appointed means: church attendance, fellowship with other Christians, the Lord’s Supper, reading and meditating on His Word, and real quality time in His presence in prayer. Wait as hatchling birds wait expectantly to be fed by their mother. None who look to Him have failed to receive blessing and strengthening. “Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord”.
