Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
This verse is a conclusion based on the previous verse, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. These verses are an encouragement to all that are facing the hostility and persecution that the world deals to all true followers of Christ. Can they insult you? Can they cause bodily harm? “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” So that they merely increase your reward. Can they take your life? They place you directly in the presence of God and eternal blessedness. “So that we boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8: 31. “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37. “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Psalms 103:1.
