1 John 5:11

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

The truth, the reality, the truly important thing to know in this life cannot be summed up better than it is right here in this verse. This verse says it ALL. Sometimes we say, “Let the record show….” Well THIS IS THE RECORD! What is the record? That God has given us eternal life. Where is this eternal life? It is in His Son. The next verse says, “He that hath the Son hath LIFE; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Nota bene. Mark it well. This is the most important truth that we need to learn during our temporary time on earth, and yet the majority of people never understand it , or if they do, they let life slip away one day after another without ever receiving the Son by faith, until……. It is too late; over the precipice and gone. Eternal Life is in the Son. Eternal life! And you can have it right now. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, please be my Savior, and give me eternal life. Amen.
