Isaiah 12:3

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

In arid or desert areas a stream or a well from which the thirsty soul can draw refreshment is especially delightful. Planet earth with its’ sin, suffering, and misery is like a waste, howling wilderness, but in this barren landscape our salvation in Christ is like an infinite reservoir or well from which we may joyfully draw refreshing drafts of comfort and blessing. His love, His mercy, and His salvation are like a boundless ocean of blessing and delight. Refresh yourself daily.
