Proverbs 4:18
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
There is a saying, “large oaks from small acorns grow,” and “Don’t despise the day of small things.” When a person comes to Christ there may be no fanfare, no bands playing or crowds cheering; but that person is destined to go from dust to glory, from chrysalis to butterfly, from lowly sinner to a glorious being of which we can at this moment form no adequate idea. Dark midnight gives no clue of a bright and glorious tomorrow; but all true believers in Jesus will one day be changed into His image “ from glory to glory”, 2 Cor. 3:18. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2. Jesus said that at that day, “then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Matthew 13:43.
