Galatians 5:16

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

The day to day life of a Christian is often referred to in the Bible as his “walk”. In this walk we are opposed by the world, the flesh, and the devil, very powerful foes that would tempt us to be unfaithful to the Lord. It is a Spiritual battle and to depend on carnal weapons, that is, to depend on human strength or will power will only bring failure and disappointment. We must walk in the Spirit which is expressed very well in Colossians 3:16……. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
