Matthew 6:11

Give us this day our daily bread.

God gives us our food and other blessings daily, so it is proper that we should acknowledge this daily, by asking the Lord for the food and other blessings that we receive from His hand. We are not self-sufficient but are pensioners on God’s bounty and receive daily from Him as do hatchling birds with wide open mouth receiving from their mother. Thank you heavenly Father.
