Exodus 33:19

Exodus 33:19
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
Moses was sheltered in the cleft, or fissure of a huge rock as he witnessed the awesome spectacle and revelation of God’s glory. What an experience! We cannot know what Moses saw, but we do know what he heard. This is told us in Ex.34:6,7: “And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty.” This was a wonderful experience for Moses, but you and I have an even more complete revelation of God!! In the Gospel of John 14:8, Phillip asks Jesus to show god to the disciples and to himself. Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet you haven’t known me Phillip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; how then are you saying, Show us the Father?” Do you see??!! Jesus is the complete revelation of God!! Do you care, or take the trouble to seek the Father through coming to Jesus His Son? “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation?” Hebrews 2:3.
