1 Chronicles 16:11

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

In this verse we are called upon to seek the LORD; a duty that is neither tedious nor bothersome, but is a joy and a delight. But how do we seek the Lord? We are told in John 14:6. Jesus said, “No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus is our High Priest, Heb. 8:1 and 9:11. We come to the Father initially through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, and we approach God subsequently through Jesus as our intercessor and high priest. He is the ONLY go between, 1 Timothy 2:5. In the Father are reservoirs of blessing, and springs of refreshing for those who take the time to call upon Him and have learned the joy and blessing of fellowship with Him by seeking his face continually. Father, strengthen and comfort us by your presence as we walk through this valley of trials and tears, we ask in the name of Jesus our Savior. Amen.
